A couple of snag ups with the electronics appear now to be resolved opening the door for the daily narrative. Departing on the morning of the 10th south bound we now are enjoying a smooth ride. A little yawing and rolling, just enough to acquaint one and all with the reality of offshore travel, comes with the territory at this time of the year. But we are fortunate. A few days earlier and we would have paid a dear price for travel in either direction; glad we missed that. For now the standard routine is in place as we roll southward. Rigging and preparation – daily seminars and plenty of time to focus on details until happy hour kicks in – then festivities and yarns until the bunks beckon. It's an easy routine, one that offers a welcome break from shore side pressures we are all too familiar with. As noted above daily reports will follow before, during, and after fishing. This run is a 14 day ride/ride so plenty of material, if the creative bug bites me, is likely to follow. Enjoy today's image from my friend David Itano and ISSF. Bigeye tuna are the featured species.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
