Fish Report for 1-9-2016
Heading in to 2016 on a high note

Winter Steelhead fishing on the upper Klamath River has been excellent despite the Winter weather. Yesterday, was no exception as Dave Watkin's son Ben was on fire while back trolling a whole threaded nightcrawler soaked in Pro-Cure crawdad gel. Ben caught and released 6 adult Steelhead, each one gradually increasing in size, starting with a chrome 17-inch 2 pounder and finishing with a thick 24-inch 7 pounder. Ben even let Dad land one nice fat 2 pounder haha. Winter Steelhead fishing on the Klamath river will continue for the next few months so give me a call 530 905 0758 if you like to book a trip.
