Started of the year at Clearlake with great friends on our annual fishing trip. After 3 days of dragging jumbo minnows in the extreme cold we caught over 100 Bass up to 8 pounds. We also got into a great Crappie bite using small jigs rigged on a drop shot. Most of them were keeper size with the biggest going almost 2.5 pounds. The lake is in good shape and I see this bite continuing for a while. If you are looking for having a lot of fun just catching fish this is the time and place for it.
