Bonito were wide open again today but the wind came up and made Sand Dab fishing too difficult. Anglers said they couldnt hold bottom toward the end of the day. Seems we have weather moving in that could keep everyone at the dock for a little while.

Today’s Fish Count: 1 boats and 15 anglers

75 Bonito and 350 Sand Dabs.

Bonito in January on the Gentleman!

From the sounds of things our anglers aboard the Gentleman today were kept busy pretty much the entire time. While loading up on Dabs, Captain Donny saw a school of Bonito breaking the surface in the distance.
