New Year's Eve Yellowtail

Seaforth Staff
The New Seaforth on an afternoon 1/2 day trip today finished with 20 Yellowtail. The Yellows are being caught on yo-yo'd jigs and dropper looped live bait. Captain Brian Castleton suggests using 40-50 pound line and larger jigs like Salas 6x or Tady 4/0's.
Half day trips depart daily at 6am and 12:30pm.

12-30-2015Yellowtail at the Coronado Islands are still biting the yo-yo'd jigs and dropper looped live bait. The fish are biting in deeper water on 30-50 pound line. Jigs such as a Salas 6x and Tady 4/0 are working well. Thursday's departure is at 5:30 am and has plenty of room.
