Royal Polaris Crew
The Royal Polaris departed on 12/26 for our annual New Year’s Eve Special trip. We picked up a nice load of bait before heading for Ensenada. We arrived at Guadalupe on 12/27 at around 1030 hours. It took a while to locate the fish but once we found them we ended up with a nice afternoon of fishing with YFT in the 80-120# range and a handful of Yellowtail in the 20-30# range.

We’ve been on the move all day and will arrive at the “beach” sometime tomorrow morning. At this point in the trip it really doesn’t matter what we find there and whatever we catch we’ll have fun doing it. It’s really somewhat of a mystery and it sounds like almost anything could or could not be happening there. Even though most of the passengers are long range veterans, hardly any of us have fished there though we are all familiar...... Read More
