Trout Season Opens on Saturday

Opening day for trout season will be Saturday December 12. We're expecting 6,000#s of Nebraska Tailwalkers/Chaulk Mound Trout for the first stock. Water temps are currently at 66F and dropping. The lake should hit that optimum feeding temp range in the 50s by January. We project that this trout season will rank among the best years this lake has ever had.
