Fish Report for 12-12-2007

Things are picking up

12-12-2007
Royal Polaris Crew

Weather today was excellent, with a slight breeze out of the northeast, with clear skies, and a bit warmer today.

Our morning started out early, around 06:30 hours. This would be our first stop of the day, with many more to come. We would boat a few fish in the 60 to 80 pound range, then it was time to take off and look again. Things are starting to look good out here, just that the fish are on small bait for now. We would land our first 200 pound Yellowfin today. Maury Newton was the lucky angler. It was caught on 100 pound test fluorocarbon. Most of the fish today were in the 80 to 120 pound catogory.

With 8 full days left, we have plenty of time for things to turn around. So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. The R/p crew.

P.S. Mike Stout would like to wish his mom a happy birthday, and many more to come.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

So with the bite slow, Roy would move the boat, and things didn't get...... Read More

Well the rain as gone, and the wind has came up. We have 15 to 18 knots of breeze out of the northwest, with 6 to 7 foot seas. Well the decision was made, and we are headed for the beach. With good reports from boats to the south of us, we are hoping not to see Hurricane bank this trip. This will give us 10 full days of fishing along the beach.
