Antioch Striper/Sturgeon Update
12-3-2015
Gotcha Bait and Tackle
STRIPED BASS: The Striped Bass fising in Antioch area has been very good. People are catching then from the shore and on boats. Most of the Striped Bass being caught are between 18 and 25 inches. The Stripers are biting on Shad and Sardines, Blood Worms, Power Worms, Rattle Traps and Spoons. The majority of the fish are being caught at Sherman Lake, Broad Slough, West Island, Big Break and Dutch Slough.
STURGEON: The Sturgeon bite is picking up. They are fishing for them at both ends of Broad Slough. Eel and Power Worms have been the popular baits. We just got in some LIVE Ghost Shrimp so fishing should improve.
