Hey folks-
We started off the day fishing for Yellowtail and they bit the dropper loop well. All beautiful grade fish from 25-40+ lbs! At about 1100 we switched gears and repositioned for tuna and boy did we have a great afternoon! We kept 3-8 going all afternoon and ended up with a beautiful catch of 50-125# fish with about 10 fish over 100#! We are going to stay the night and fish the morning for a few hours before traveling home. As of right now our estimated eta back to San Diego is going to be about 3-330 in the afternoon. Wish us luck! We will check in tomorrow.

Hey folks Last night we had an incredible night bite on beautiful grade yellows. The ones we landed were 25-40# but we had casualties on even 100# line. These fish are beasts! It pays to stay up and fish even after a long day at the tail tuna fishing! We are in our way home now so we can come back out and do it again! A big thanks to Island Tackle for sponsoring the trip and...... Read More
