Fish Report for 11-1-2015

Cisco's - Count & Weekly Wrap-up

11-1-2015
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Here we are at the end of another weekend and the start of a new month. Not much in the terms of offshore fishing this week simply because it was too bumpy out there. Up behind the islands however it was a different story. At Santa Cruz Island we were able to find pockets of calm water with fish holding. Most of the boats this week did well catching Yellowtail and Calico’s in the kelp. If they weren’t biting it wasn’t far to load up on Whitefish and Sheephead. At the outer islands the primary target was again Yellowtail with an always solid backup of quality Rockfish and other bottom species. We expect this fall fishing season to be one for the record books as El Nino 2015 rolls on into November!
