Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; our morning started out with the weather coming down, and the sky was blue, with lots of sunshine. We were on our way to Cedros Island, and Jonathan spotted an kelp paddy in 80 degree water, and we would land 3 out 4 Wahoo under this kelp.
But this would not be the first and only kelp we would find. We would drive by/stopping on many more kelp for the day to end up with a decent catch of Dorado and Wahoo for our efforts.
Most of the reports from the other boats was very disappointing, so we were happy with our catch. Not great, but good for our efforts. We are now headed to Punta Conoas. We are starting our way north, as the trip winds down. Will try our luck at Yellowtail and Bass tomorrow morning, so stay in touch and we will keep you informed of our events.
