Royal Polaris Fishing Report

10-7-2015
Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone, we arrived to the 13 fathom spot around 09:00 hours, did some trolling, did some drifting, and did some anchoring. We had a slow morning, but an good afternoon. The morning we did have much movement (tidal movement), and the bite just didn’t happened for us. But after lunch, the current started moving, and the Yellowfin tuna got busy with us.

We ended our day with 114 Yellowfin tuna, 4 Wahoo, and 2 Groupers. Most of the Yellowfin were in the 14 to 25 pound range, and some were a bit smaller, but we did release about 40 small Yellowfin back to grow up.

We are now moving down the ridge, and will arrive to our next destination at midnight, so until tomorrow, wish us luck.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
