Here we go again on another one of George's long range adventures. We left this evening, grabbed some young sardine and some more mature mackerel, and we bounced. For 15 days. Long range. These are always interesting times doing this length of a trip this time of year. Things can be a bit stormy down in the long range fishing grounds. That's what we have our weather programs on board for though. To keep us safe and plan things accordingly. Right now there's a few systems down there that we're keeping an eye on. If it stops us from getting down below right away then so be it. One things for sure, we're not going to be anywhere near one of these systems. So we'll take it one day at a time for the time being.

So yeah, we're out here now. Everyone"s just chilling. It was a pretty sunset on a flat ocean. We enjoyed our departure meal of prime rib and like I said, we're hanging out. There's no rush getting things rigged or anything. We have a few days more to do so.

We miss you Charlie. It's weird out here without you.

Along with the dorado we caught some small...... Read More

We just weren't seeing the schools on the edge of the fleet so we mosied our way up to the next area and we were late to that party. So again we mosied our way up and at 1:30 we were still skunked. We...... Read More
