Hey folks-

We slid down the coast last night to try for some yellowtail. We woke up to no current and cold water. After about an hour the current started to pull down the coast an the water warmed and cleaned up. Subsequently the yellowtail also started to bite. We had steady action for a few hours before the current again backed off and the yellows stopped biting. We decided to bail and go back up to the islands that way we could also be closer to the bft grounds. We were able to scratch a few more handfuls of yellowtail at the islands and ended up with over a hundred for our day. We are headed northwest for bft tonight. Wish us luck and nice weather.
