Today we got off to a good start and thought it was going to be a huge day, well that's what I get for thinking. We ended the day with 14 fish - most all over 100lbs and 1 over 200lbs.
We just couldn't put anything together in the afternoon, but there were a couple of the boats that did have a nice day. The weather today was very wet with heavy rain most of the time and by afternoon, there was 20 knots of southeast wind to go with it. So as funny as this sounds, we are on our way up the coast going downhill - that doesn't happen very often.
The Big fish of the day was Landed by Jim Hall - a 212lb Yellowfin. He told me that he never caught one over 100lbs so he didn't mess around and just got er done.
Things look good down here and I think there is going to be a lot of good fishing in the near future so if you are thinking about booking a trip , don't drag your feet.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 223-5414to get in on the action.
