Hi-Count Update
7-31-2015
Big Hungry
Capt. Jason Reese from the Hi-Count just gave an updated report with a 150+ pound Bluefin on the deck with another 125+ pound fish landed at grey light!
The El Capitan, Eldorado, New Lo-An and Grande returned from their offshore trips yesterday with a nice mix of Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Dorado and Yellowtail. The Dorado have moved in close to compliment the current mix of Tuna offshore. The Yellowtail have been a nice grade in the 15-25 pound range. The Bluefin Tuna catch has been spectacular at times with fish pushing 200 pounds!
The Mission Belle ¾ run is currently fishing offshore. The Tuna and other Pelagics have moved in close and the ¾ run is taking advantage of it. The Daily Double is running two trips a day and have been targeting local Yellowtail, Bass and Barracuda. Some of the local Yellowtail have been pushing 30+ pounds.
