Hello everyone; Our weather today was overcast in the morning, but by the afternoon, it was tee’s and shorts. We tried lots of kelps today, but many of them had the Vacant sign on. It was tough fishing today, but we manage to get some nice Yellowtail on a few kelps, and 39 Yellowfin tuna. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 15 to 25 pound range, and the Yellowfin were in the 12 to 15 pound range, with a few going 20 to 25 pounds.
We departed the area at 15:00 hours, and the boats had a great afternoon, with the Yellowfin showing up late. Our ETA to Fisherman’s landing will be 07:30 hours. We will be turning around on the Hi’s 5 day trip, and Frank will be at the helm. So until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing. Team R/p

Hello everyone; Well with an early arrival to the dock (05:30), and the quick turn-around, we departed on our first of many 3 day adventures. We departed Fisherman’s landing at 10:00 hours, and with only a few tanks to fill, it was in and out for loading bait. We cleared the point at 11:15 hours, and with reports from the boats south of the border, the decision was made to make the move south. With 33...... Read More
