Capt Bill Cavanaugh checked in from the Amigo as they are offshore, we were here a couple days ago as we did not have much luck. We did see signs of fish around and had a couple bites, we did not mangage to get any tuna but we did some Yellowtail. We then headed to San Nicholas and had a very good day of shallow water rockfish. We are now headed to the area and I noticed some bird activity and after glassing it looked like Dorado, but I did not think much of it. Guess what, it was Dorado and we put 3 Dorado from 10 - 15 lbs on the deck and we are not even where we want to be to fish. This is something we did not see coming, we will check back in again later.
