Fish Report for 7-19-2015

Santa Cruz Update!

7-19-2015
Bayside Marine

The water conditions remain flat calm and like Hawaii here in Santa Cruz. There is no swell or wind and anglers are fishing all day long. There has been some nice Halibut caught near the Mile Buoy and up the coast near 4 Mile Beach. There have been a few Sea Bass caught near 3 Mile Beach. The Rock fishing was wide open up at Franklin Point. The Lingcod fishing is still going great on any rock pile. There were a few Salmon caught in 170 feet of water straight out of Santa Cruz. The weather is expected to be the same for a few more days so come fishing.

The Rockcod opener was slower then expected today but there were a few fish caught. The best report came from Franklin Point and Davenport in 150-240 feet of water. There was a ground swell and the water has been cooler then normal. The wind came up around noon making most boats fish close. I will keep you posted.
