Baja Pirates Fish Report
6-9-2015

The full moon and Hurricane Blanca have changed fishing conditions somewhat here in La Paz. We have experienced big tides and currents throughout the region last week. The good news is these changes have brought on Wahoo and larger Dorado for the Pirate fleet. We are getting Wahoo bites daily although having to travel further than we have had to all spring. Marlin are being seen daily and we are catching and releasing them almost every day now. The Wahoo pictured was caught during an exploratory trip to the North side of Cerralvo island and was in the 35 pound class. Many Roosterfish are also being caught for those wanting to chase them. Our Captain Caco released something like 15 of them on the first day of June. We are looking forward to a good summer and hope to see you here!
