Capt Tino from the Freedom called in a trip wrap up for their overnight trip, we ended the day with 53 Yellowtail even though we doubled that in hookups. We lost a lot to seals, the rocks and anglers not using the right gear, the right gear will make all the difference. We recommend that you use at least 40 lb set up for yoyo irons and 30 lb setup for the mackeral bait we are catching for bait. The bass rod and small reel are not the ticket for this type of fishing, we also had some Whitefish, Sheephead and assorted rockfish to round out the day. Very nice weather and all in all pretty decent fishing.
