Yesterday we fished our way up the line as usual rather than just traveling. We had some excellent fishing along the way as well, everyone got their fill on Big Reds and Lings, and few more Yellows. Today we started out with a nice mix of Bluefin and Yellowfin. Shortly after lunch we hit a good sonar school of these nice Tuna and they went off. It was very good fishing right in the corner type of action for a coup[le of hours then settled into a scratch bite. When that ended we made a short move and hit another school to finish this trip off with a bang! A full Long Range experience as we hit all the spots, offshore Bluefin to start it out, then some great Yellowtail fishing down at the Islands, Hit the rocks, the Ridge, back up to the Yellowtail Grounds, some coastal fishing on the way up, and then ended it with some very good Tuna fishing! We would like to thank Tony Garza and Soft Steel Ultra Premium Monofilament for the sponsorship and continued support to the Intrepid Team. Just a well rounded long Range Trip as many had never been to Alijos Rocks, multiple species targeted, caught, handled with extreme care for excellent table fare for all to take home. What fun we had. See ya next year guys. ETA 0600 Friday.....
