What a Great day we had here on the Intrepid. We got on a school of big yellows @ 0600 and drifted with them until 1pm. It was all you wanted on the 18-30lb class Tails. Just a beautiful grade of fish with an average of around 22--25lbs. After that was done we got in out of the wind and did some Halibut fishing were we boated a few nice ones, lost a couple nice ones and released several more shorts to grow and fight again another day. While we were drifting Luc hooked into a Jumbo Yellow of 40lbs on a explosive surface iron bite and landed him! A few more Big yellows were landed along with lots of large Calico Bass. Just a great day to be here fishing with friends. We are going to head up the line tonight and fish along the beach tomorrow. Wish us Luck
