ETA 7:00 am Saturday morning. We made a move last night to go exploring into another area closer to home that would allow us to get in a half a day of fishing before calling it a trip. The move was the right one, as we found a new area of fish within 150 miles from San Diego. The water in this area was pristine and a perfect 64.5 degrees. We found several different Bluefin schools that stayed with us and acted right. It was a fun morning of running on the spots of breaking fish. We ended up with 31 Bluefin for our morning before heading for home. Young Cole Chivara landed his first ever Bluefin today. Way to go Cole! Cole also aspires to be a chef one day and was helping out Chef Javier during the breakfast throughout the trip. Thanks again Cole.. We have some openings on our 1.5 day trip over the 4th of July. This is looking like a great trip to get out and get a Bluefin now that these fish are moving closer. Give Carol a call (1-877-686-7827) and get some Bluefin Tuna in your freezer!!
