Fishing turned around out here at the Rocks for us today. It wasn't wide open or fast and furious, but just a steady bite. The Yellowfin started showing right at daylight and stayed with us until late in the afternoon which was a nice change from yesterday. We also were able to keep the Yellowtail going throughout most of the day. The Tuna are a nice grade of fish in the 50-100 lb. class and the Yellows are the 20-30 lb. class with some smaller ones in the mix as well. The Nor-cal Tuna Chaser club has a coveted Pink Skirt Award that goes to the last man standing or the last fisherman to boat a fish. Yesterday the last man standing was last years Jackpot winner Ray Mosier, who proudly fished the entire day today with his skirt on! We are all having a blast and will remain here to hope for more good fishing tomorrow. Wish us luck. "The Intrepid Team"
