All Day Drift... We got on a school in the dark this morning and shut down on them. It took a little while for them to come back around, but they did get under us and at 4:30am we hooked into the first Jig fish. By daylight(grey) there were 9 of the 40-60 lb. Bluefin on deck. We then began to plunk away at the beautiful grade of Tuna for the rest of the day. The fish were cookie cutter 50-60 lber's with a couple bigger up to 70 lbs. and a couple smaller ones. It was the kinda day we were looking for and the type of day we all enjoy very much. Quality Bluefin, plunker style, all day long. John Keeler was again the hot stick catching many fat Bluefin, Cole Chivira also boated his share today and everyone else caught plenty. We will make a move tonight up the line a ways to have more fishing time tomorrow before we call it a trip. Wish us Luck. "The Intrepid Team"

We had scratchy Yellowtail fishing today, although again we saw great sign in a couple different areas. The water is pretty cold here and that's keeping them off the bite. We did pick up a few for everyone in the 14-20 lb. class all on the Yo-Yo iron before we headed offshore once again looking for kelps in the afternoon. Tomorrow we will be fishing for Bluefin. Wish Us Luck. "The Intrepid Team" ...... Read More
