Today was our first fishing day of the trip and we fished offshore for Bluefin tuna. Our first stop of the day was on a kelp paddy that had a bunch of yellowtail on it. It was a good warm up, we released most of them and tagged a handful of keepers. The biggest being a 25 pound fish landed by Mark Kanow. Once we got into the water that has been holding the bulk of the Bluefin that we have been catching, we saw very little sign of fish. We only ended up catching one Bluefin for our efforts this afternoon. It has the distinct feeling that this fish is down. The weather today was good with about 10 - 12 knots of wind out of the northwest. We are traveling south to fish for yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck. "The Intrepid Team"

Seeker Rods, Avet Reels, Soft Steel Premium Monofilament, and Eagle Claw Hooks, all deserve a big thank...... Read More
