Sherry Klassen called in with this report from the Reel Steel in Eureka, "The ocean is still really flat. We went for Salmon today. We had 10 Salmon for 5 Anglers. It was a little smaller grade. There were lots of boats on the water so Tim fished out and away from the big group. I'd say that the average size was 12 lb. range. They are still beautiful fish.

"There was quite the whale show. There is so much krill and bait it is a very healthy ocean. It was another good day, we hope that tomorrow will be as good. We have a full boat tomorrow, the weather is supposed to pick up a little tomorrow so we are just hoping it won't be too bad.

If you want to go fishing on the Reel Steel you can reach them at 707-499-4925. Be aware that they book up far in advance so be sure to call and ask when they have openings.
