Hello Anglers,

Today we had an exceptional day on the albacore fishing while looking for some of that big bluefin that has been around. All of our albacore were over 22 pounds with the majority of the fish in the 28 to 32 pound range and they wanted to bite. It did not seem to be up and around in the morning hours but when it was it was very good fishing for all. We caught what we needed and then looked for yellows on kelps as well for those wiley bluefin. The one kelp that we fish we picked up 47 yellowtail in the 15 to 25 pound range. We did see one spot of bluefin that came under the boat once but we never hooked any.Tomorrow we are going to try our morning at Guadalupe and see what we come up with. Reported by: Shawn Steward
