Lake Fishing: Wind and unsettled weather conditions have made fishing somewhat challenging at Frenchman Lake lately, but the weather is warming up! Try night crawlers, garlic marshmallows, or power bait.?? Keep your bait off the bottom unless you want to catch catfish.?? Trollers: Use night crawlers, flashers or frog-type lures.
Camping: They are still working on getting all the campgrounds open.?? Frenchman Campground is open (dry camping only) and Chilcoot Campground is open with water.??

Also try Hamilton Branch or the jetties in Prattville using night crawlers with turbo power bait or SW10 Kastmasters. Night crawlers and garlic flavored marshmallows as well as rainbow and chartreuse power bait produced some nice limits of rainbows for many bank fishermen.??
