Happy New Year and we hope that 2010 brings a large number of nice catches among your readers and our anglers!

Weather has been good to us this week. It is very cold in the mornings, but warms into the 70's by 11 a.m. We had 2 boats out yesterday who came down for some rock cod fishing and were not disappointed. They brought up big reds and whitefish off of Ben's Rock. One boat did stop at the 240 spot on the way to the rock cod fishing area and picked up 2 nice yellowtail, 15 to 18 lbs, on blue and white jigs.

This fish report is from Pete Hillis, reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico for the week ending December 3, 2009. There was not a lot of action going on over the Thanksgiving weekend.
