Halibut caught offshore and also possible on a bottom fishing trip

Strange Weather But Good Bottom Fishing!

Dockside Charters Staff

Strange day this morning as the weather turned the ocean partly upside down with a confused/foggy ocean which made for a uncomfortable start of the trip this morning. It did get better as the morning went on especially offshore which is normally rougher than inshore. Not this morning. The outside waters were calm with hardly any wind. Bottom fishing went well even inshore where there was a decent bite but the offshore BF was really good.

Salmon with the rough waters where we have been fishing for Coho salmon was slower this. morning.

One skipper reported a 4-around crab bite
