Iron Canyon could be a sleeper location to fish
7-26-2024
The Fly Shop
Iron Canyon could be a sleeper location to fish this summer. As recently as a couple of weeks ago fish were congregating in the input swirl and chowing on BWO nymphs, San Juan Worms, and the occasional Callibaetis hatch would have fish in the flats eating up top. Balanced Swimming Leeches are always a safe bet as well as worm patterns and midges! If the visibility is decent, this could be a good destination to hook a ton of rainbows.
