April Fishing Report !

The Crappie will be in full spawn this month. We are targeting them around boat docks, bridges, and any other type of cover in shallow water. Jigs and minnows are both working well to catch the Crappie .

White Bass will also be spawning. Many have been in the creeks since early March, but will be back into the main lake by mid to late April.

This is the month that the lake really comes alive. The water will heat up into the upper sixties & seventies and the fishing will continually get better. Our cold fronts are becoming less frequent and our nights are much warmer. All of this helps the patterns to regulate and be more consistent.

Expect April to be a great month for fishing!
