Terry Kahler from Atascadero and grew up on Los Palitos Road has been reeling these big guys in Terry uses night crawlers and fishes from the shore. He's caught and released more than 8 weighing in excess of 10+ pounds. Way to go Terry!

Santa Margarita LakeYess we are open! Come and get your fish on at the lake! Plenty of trout being caught just outside of Mackie Point and also Salsipuedes Bay. Trolling sinking rapalas are getting good bites as well as floating power bait off of bottom. Catfish are being caught daily and monsters too over 14lbs!!
