We’ve had some great reports out of Pyramid once again this week, and the name of the game continues to be jigging heavy streamers 40-60 feet down and locating the bait balls of Tui Chubs. We don’t expect this bite to last too much longer however as these bait balls typically will break up some time in November, so if you have a boat or float tube don’t hesitate on getting out here as we have heard multiple reports of 100+ fish days since the opener. Once the jigging game dies off and we start getting some stormy weather, the shore bite will begin to turn on and usually around mid-December is when we begin to head out on our ladders using the typical streamer and indicator setups.
