Another great week of fishing on Shasta Lake. 20 to 30 fish days have been the norm, so obviously a limit of fat tasty trout is not a problem. These fish are feeding like crazy on shad and getting fatter by the day. The meat has been beautiful looking and even better to eat. 

These fish are deep (50 to 100 feet) and trolling shad type plugs and or lures has been the hot ticket for me and my clients.
