Howdy yall, it's Trejan on the Sunrise. Today we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 12 passengers. We left the harbor at 6:30, and went straight to our fishing grounds because we rebaited our pots yesterday. On our first drift, we caught 75% percent of our limit. The second drift was used to finish up the rest of our limits. In total, we caught all of our fish in a little over 45 minutes. We proceeded to fish for Lingcod and Cabezon for another 3 hours before we went crabbing. For crabbing, we ended up with 35. That meant that everyone got 3.5 because only 10 people were crabbing. After crabbing, we finished up our trip by heading back in the harbor. The ocean was as smooth as a lake the whole day and we had perfect wheather. Overall, it was a great day for fishing.
