Up and Running Again - Room For Tomorrow

6-14-2022
Jon Yokomizo

Okay, we’re up and running again and have space on tomorrow's trip. I just got back from the Pacific Fisheries Management Council meeting in Vancouver, Washington. The PFMC is currently making their decisions for the 2023 -2024 rockfish/lingcod seasons. The state allocation for recreational fishermen will be 1.67 tons of quillback rockfish for the whole state and similar for copper rockfish and always the catch and release of the forbidden Yelloweye. For sport-fishermen to have a season in the future we cannot go over the allocations until we can provide enough data that the quillback and copper rockfish are not in any danger of being overfished. Stay tuned for the updated 23-24 rockfish seasons.
TOMORROW'S trip is a go with an extremely light load (it would be great to get more anglers onboard to help cover these insane fuel costs...) so join us by booking online at seawolfsportfishing.com or calling the shop at 510-652-3403.

The Sea Wolf runs trips out of Fish Emeryville in Emeryville, CA. If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (510) 652-3403 to get in on the action.
