Monday Updates

  • The San Diego has 15 Bluefin Tuna on the boat for their Full Day Trip. The fish are in the 30 to 90 pound range, and are being caught on sinker rigs and jigs. There is plenty of fishing left, so keep an eye out for more updates!,
  • The Tribute 1.5 Day Trip has 8 Bluefin Tuna on the boat. The fish are in the 100 to 180 pound range. The Tribute 1.5 Day Trip has room on the upcoming Tuesday night departure. Make your reservations now and get in on the great Bluefin bite!
  • The Pacifica reported in from the first day of their 2.5 Day Trip with 22 bluefin on the boat to get things started. Their fish are in the 40 to 110 pound range.

Returning Trips

  • The Polaris Supreme returned from their Five Day Trip with limits of Bluefin and 6 yellowtail.

The San Diego had a great day on the water on their Full Day trip today with 46 Bluefin ranging from 30-100 pounds for their 34 anglers. Captain Matt said that the sinker rig and jigs were the best option today but they did have an opportunity for some flyline fish as well. For Full Day gear recommendations its best to have a 40# setup for flyline with size 1 or 2 circle hooks, and an 80/100# rig for the sinker...... Read More
