Whales where active in Depoe Bay today and put on a great show for us. Our resident whales are super friendly and don't mind when we want to pay them a visit. They will be here all through the Summer and Fall. We will be running multiple trips daily so be sure to schedule your trip out to see these gentle giants.

Today was an absolute treat as the Morning Star was able to find a mother Gray Whale and her calf! Newborn Gray Whales are born already weighing a whopping 2,000 pounds at 14-16 feet long. The pair was fairly smitten with the boat and decided to stick with it for a little while. With summer right around the corner, sightings like these are going to become a regular occurance and it never gets old! Make sure you don't let this opportunity pass you...... Read More
