The MorningStar went fishing and crabbing today and reported back with limits of rockfish, a handful of Lingcod, and great news crabbing was four per person! Today was an absolute treat as the Morning Star was able to find a mother Gray Whale and her calf! Newborn Gray Whales are born already weighing a whopping 2,000 pounds at 14-16 feet long. The pair was fairly smitten with the boat and decided to stick with it for a little while. With summer right around the corner, sightings like these are going to become a regular occurance and it never gets old!
