Seaforth Staff

  • Happy Memorial Day from all of us here at Seaforth Landing!

  • We've had an influx of bigger Bluefin over the past few days and we are beginning to see fish in the 150-200 pound range. We strongly urge everyone to be prepared to fish 80-130# line. If you are in need of a heavier setup we have plenty available for rent from the office.

  • The Tribute called in from their 1.5 Day trip earlier today with 13 Bluefin weighing up to 110 pounds and 10 of those fish were 100 pounds or over. Captain Tyler recommends being prepared to fish the sinker rig with 60-80 line, size 2/0 or 3/0 circle hooks and 4 ounce torpedo sinkers. The Tribute has a definite run 1.5 Day trip departing tomorrow night with plenty of availability.

  • The Voyager returned this morning from a 1.5 Day trip with 18 Bluefin weighing from 80-180 pounds for their 14 anglers. The Voyager will be running Limited Load 2 Day trips departing every Monday and the first two Wednesdays of June. There are plenty of spots remaining so don't miss your chance to make your reservation.

  • The Polaris Supreme also returned this morning from a 3 Day trip with 144(limits) of Bluefin for their 24 anglers. They had fish weighing up to 185 pounds! They are back out for a 2 Day trip so we should have some info from them here soon.
