Join the Nevada Department of Wildlife at Lahontan Reservoir for our annual Kids Carp Derby. Kids get to haul in huge carp on our very own magic bait. Registered kids receive a raffle entry and all the secret bait you can handle. Participants 12 years and older need a valid Nevada fishing license. Jakes Creek Reservoir (Boies Reservoir): The lake is full
Illipah Reservoir: Anglers will do well with a variety of night crawlers
Humboldt River: As of May 13, the South Fork of the Humboldt was flowing at 50 cfs
Cave Lake: Cave Lake is lowered to minimum and unfishable
Angel Lake: The road to Angel Lake was plowed a two weeks ago
Cold Creek Reservoir: The reservoir is filling nicely and has been stocked
Comins Lake: Surface water temperatures are in the low 50’s
Bruneau River: As of May 13, the Bruneau River was flowing at 125 cfs
