Lake Jennings Staff

  • Stocking: The lake was stocked with 2,000 pounds of trout the week of March 21st. The next stocking is April 4th where another 1,500 pounds of trout will go into the lake. This is the next to last stocking for the season. For a complete stocking schedule, click HERE. Stay tuned for information regarding catfish season!
  • What's the catch? Trout were in Hermit Cove, although there was also some action off of the t-dock reported. Powerbait (garlic) and nightcrawlers were the baits of choice. The New Moon bass bite was active! They were pulled all over the lake on drop shot and Roboworms. Shiners were also effective. Fishermen reported that the catfish were deep. We only saw cats come in from the boats. The dip bait seemed to be what they were biting on on Saturday night. Don't forget to send us pics of your catch! You can tag us @lakejennings on social media or email them to ranger@lakejennings.org.
  • Conditions: The current water temperature is 63 degrees. With the time change, the sun will rise around 7:00 a.m. each morning and set around 6:55 p.m. For a complete weather report in Lakeside, click HERE.
