Clear Creek Ranch Report
12-4-2021
The Fly Shop
Due to the changes in the fishing regulations earlier this yea, the ranch will remain open to those who would like to fish the creek through the winter. Clear Creek historically had salmon and steelhead runs each fall and winter prior to the Whiskeytown Dam going in. Now, we see the large laker Rainbows heading upstream to spawn each year and we will be able to fish for them. The rain in October bumped the flows significantly, the creek has cleared and is back in great shape. Give us a call if you would like a chance at a wild Rainbow later this season!
