Tradewinds Crew
Salmon fishing this morning was once again and a little of a surprise outrageously good. After a slow fishing day Saturday the word out of Newport is they had a pretty decent day so our three boats headed down south a few miles before putting the gear in. The three boats had fish on immediately. They found a water change south about three miles in 30 fathoms of water that was just loaded with birds and the fishing got pretty intense with doubles and triples on most all of the time. Our 6-man boat limited and was home shortly after 8am and the Kadaho and the Mr Max fishing many more people also limited everyone including crew. Nice picture of a 20+ pound Chinook salmon caught on the Mr Max and some really nice fillets from our quality fish cutter pictures. Lets hope this keeps up tomorrow. The last picture the limit catch off the Kadaho on the way home. $0 total fish including 1-King salmon. Great Picture !

Swells could be 8-9 foot and there movement will be out of the west and with a minus tide to boot that gives opportunity for the Depoe Bay bar to be very nautical and can be dangerous to cross. Sorry for those...... Read More
