April 1, 2021 was the worst opening day of rockfish ever! Lousy weather and lousy fishing left out anglers’ gunny sacks flapping in the wind!

Good Afternoon TigerFishermen,
The weather was spectacular for April. Flat calm weather allowed us to get out to the Islands. We tried a couple different spots before settling into a good bite which steadily pulled 2 quality yellowtail rockfish filling our sacks. 20 lingcod up to 12 pounds decided to join the action along with several other shorts.
