The San Diego finished their full day trip with 74 Yellowfin Tuna and 12 Skipjack Tuna for their 34 passengers!
The Sea Watch wrapped up their Full Day with 80 Yellowfin Tuna, and 10 Skipjack! That's limits style Yellowfin Tuna fishing for their 16 Anglers to kick off the Fall season. They have a few spots left on their Friday full day departing at 5:30am.
The El Gato Dos Finished their Full Day trip with 20 yellowfin, 15 Skipjack and 4 Yellowtail for their 4 Full day anglers.
The Tribute just called in from their 1.5 Day trip with 4 yellowfin in the 30-60 pound range, and are fighting a few more.
The Pacifica returned from a 1.5 Day this morning with 22 Bluefin Tuna. The go to setup was a flyline sardine on 25-30# fluorocarbon and a size 2 or 4 mutu circle hook. Captain Andrew recommends having a 40# rod and some 4-6oz torpedo sinkers as well. A few of these fish in the late afternoon came via the sinker rig.
